Original 1973 US Motown three-LP anthology, catalogue M 793R3, collecting recordings from the group’s early career through the beginning of the 1970s.
This is the RCA Hollywood pressing, identified by the 03B matrix variation and separate stamped H in the runout.
The three records use the original auto-coupled sequence intended for automatic record changers:
- Record 1: sides 1 and 6
- Record 2: sides 2 and 5
- Record 3: sides 3 and 4
Condition
All three records have been carefully cleaned and fully play-tested. The vinyl presents EX to NM- throughout, retaining excellent gloss with very few signs of handling. All six sides play exceptionally cleanly, with no notable crackle, pops, skips or distracting noise.
The fold-out outer sleeve is in excellent condition overall, with strong colour and a particularly clean illustrated interior. There is a small crumple to the lower-right corner and only light age-related handling wear.
The illustrated colour booklet is present and presents excellently. Three period plain paper inner sleeves, believed original to the set, are also included.
